Hoopa Valley/Trinity River
We are embarking on an exciting new project, supporting the resilience and food security of a community on the Hoopa Reservation. As part of this work, we are supporting the start-up of a two acre small scale organic farm, and holding a three-day workshop in 2009, help take 10-18 participants through the basics of soil health, agroecology and traditional planting techniques, and appropriate technologies such as drip irrigation.
